How Plans Can Change

How Plans Can Change

I have spent the last two days in Milford Haven as yesterday I was visited by my first Boatshed Broker and the founder Mike de-Graff.

The day was then taken up with planning the next leg of the journey and all the preparations and plans were laid to head up the coast to New Quay.

Britain to Starboard departing through the Cardiff barrage.I had been put in touch with Jonathan from New Quay Dolphin Spotting Boat Trips as he has a deep mooring that he was kindly letting me use for the night, then the next weather forecast came in and it was for 25 knts of wind from the North North West due to hit them at 4 pm so this then became an nonviable option due to swell rolling in there. So phone calls were made and I have been very kindly allowed to moor in Fishguard where I am now firmly moored to one of the Stenna Lines buoys.

The journey up here was to start with a nice breeze which we had to beat into and and had a very nice run, then the tide turned and we were going into it then the wind died to nothing at all. Thankfully by this time we were only 10 miles from the harbour so a slow motor in.

The plan for the next couple of days it to get up to Aberystwyth tomorrow and then on to Pwllheli by the weekend.

Until Next Time
