I have arrived in Milford Haven. It was what can only be described as an experience entering the Haven at night!
I arrived at the mouth of the Haven just after 2am this morning and following the channel markers in took all the concentration I had, it was like picking the starboard markers out on a Christmas tree, and then making sure we didn’t pick up any lobster pots! Thankfully we avoided them all and entered the marina, and after a slow lock in I was moored up at half past three and was greatful to get into my bunk.
I have spent the day making some small alterations as we are bound for Neyland just up the Haven tomorrow to meet Mike De Graaf from boatshed Wales.
